  Based with in the busy Membership Team of Greater Manchester Chamber - the largest Chamber in the UK - the Events Team develop, market, plan and manage an extensive programme of networking events on behalf of our Members. Throughout the year, we organise around 120-150 events, including Network events, in each local area, Hospitality events, Pure Networking, Property & Construction events (including breakfast meetings, lunchtime events, seminars and an Annual Dinner & Awards), Meet The Buyer events, Business Women's Networks events and our flagship event of the year - the Annual Business Dinner with over 700 attendees. We also host many high-profile visiting dignitaries from both the UK and overseas to the Chamber.Over 10,000 delegates per year attend our vast range of events - all with the intention of meeting new contacts, building their networks and increasing the profile of their business. Event management has been my specialism for over 25 years and includes marketing & promotion, budget control and management of staff.Previous roles for the Chamber have included: Event Manager & Meeting Centre Operations Manager, Office Manager, Marketing Executive, Membership PA and Export Documentation Officer.
