  As an Information Assurance practitioner I assist in protecting and defending information and information systems by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, authentication, availability, and non-repudiation. 1 Led the Navy client Naval Facilities South West (NAVAFAC SW) in Certification and Accreditation (C&A) activities in accordance with DoDI 5200.40, the DoD Information Technology (IT) Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP), and DoDI 8510.bb, the DoD IA (C&A) Process (DIACAP). 2 Developed and executed (C&A) schedules, developed and modified (C&A) documentation, analyzed the Information Assurance (IA) architecture of IT systems for compliance with DoD policies and, developed and executed security test plans, and assessed the IA risk of IT systems, documenting them in formal risk assessments. 3 "Working experience" with DISA's Gold Disk application and SRRs, checklists (C&A) writing experience with System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA’s), SSPs, SRTMs, CONOPS… Security Requirement Traceability Matrices. Liaise with NAVFAC SW during team meetings and one-on-one on the completion of (C&A) documents. 4 Created and reviewed SSAA documents for integrity and completeness regarding testing and risk analysis. Used appropriate technology to coordinate (C&A) activities with team members and manage NAVFAC SW expectations to maintain satisfaction. 5 Provided documentation for IT Staff, Developers and end user procedures. 6 Provided user and technical training in the area of Information Assurance to NAVFAC SW employees. 7 I lead in providing superior support to Navy Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Legacy Network Shutdown Project.
