      Lisa began her teaching career as a classroom teacher at Eagleby South State School, where her passion for effectively managing student behaviour was ignited. Lisa taught across the year levels from 2 – 7 and led year level meetings and became interested and focussed on assisting fellow colleagues to develop effective classroom management strategies for dealing with individual students. Lisa was then seconded to work as an Advisory Visiting Teacher within a cluster of 10 schools across the Gold Coast Region. In this role Lisa worked with staff, students, parents and Principals to develop effective whole school, classroom and individual behaviour management plans. Lisa enjoyed working as a mentor teacher to staff as they worked collaboratively to develop positive classroom techniques to engage and motivate all learners.
