Lisa has been our administrative assistant for a good number of years. She has helped us (engineers) work around difficult admin processes, make travel arrangements (both domestic as well as international), organize great picnics and team activities. Regardless of how busy she might have been, she has always helped out with a smile and taken things to completion. With her help, engineers have been able to quickly focus back on solving engineering problems, while she took care of the non-engineering issues. She will be a great admin for any fast paced, high performing engineering team.

Lisa worked for me for many years, providing administrative support to myself as well as a large R&D group. Lisa is dependable and reliable and always made sure that she did her work to the highest expectations. She was involved with many aspects of managing the office, such as travel arrangements, asset management, expense reporting, planning for new-hire on-boarding, space/seat planning for multiple department moves, logistics with bringing in external trainers etc. She also did a great job planning for team social events such as picnics, various celebrations etc.I could always rely on Lisa to get the job done.

My responsibilities were to maintain the daily Outlook calendar, screen calls, secure complicated travel arrangements both domestic and international with, experience renewing passports as well as VISAs for international travel when necessary. I was responsible for creating and submitting expense reports, including foreign currencies, and was an IBM and GERS expense reporting super user, assisting anyone requiring help with their expenses. I am proficient in SAP with vast experience in the purchasing aspect of the software, asset management, invoice processing and vendor issues, as well as use with time entry within SAP. Required to submit monthly as well as quarterly accruals. I was also responsible for compiling deliverable for the parent company located in Japan. This involved retrieving complicated information, formatting it into notebooks/cd’s and exporting it outside the United States. I have excellent working knowledge of the laws that govern exporting these types of materials. New hire on boarding, including setting up work space and requesting all necessary accounts. Others skills include campus security where I was responsible for issuing employee badges utilizing the Badge Pro system as well as provide tours of the campus to new employees. I purchased and maintained the office/small business machine supplies. I am a Notary Public, CPR and emergency defibrillator trained and was the ward captain for two hundred employees. I would also coordinate the annual department picnic, Halloween event, and the Thanksgiving celebration. Show less
