• Manages various alumni related events, for all four schools, to include negotiating contracts, selecting venues, preparing menus, arranging audio-visual needs, and preparing invitations while meeting deadlines and adhering to budget guidelines. • Serves as staff liaison for all four School’s Alumni Associations. • Coordinates the School of Health Professions and School of Nursing’s Alumni Association’s association meetings while working directly with the Alumni Association’s President to ensure that their strategic plan is adhered to, as well as working within the confines of the School of Health Professions and School of Nursing’s business plan. Conducts meetings in accordance with committee bylaws and “Robert’s Rules of Order”. • Writes and prepares correspondence to alumni, donors, potential donors, and supporters of the institution or schools. Ensures timely payments and reimbursements for events. • Works closely with the Communications Coordinator to manage internet and web based strategies to help cultivate involvement and support. • Manages Lifetime email process including working with Student Affairs and Development Services to get new graduates into Raisers Edge. Communicates with students upon graduation regarding Lifetime email service. Manages Online Directory and coordinates directory edits, for all four schools, with the Communications Coordinator. • Establishes, analyzes and maintains a network of key contacts to aid in development and efforts to strengthen alumni involvement. • Collaborates with the Communications Coordinator to ensure the school’s alumni web pages are kept current with up-to-date information. • Prepares meeting agendas, scripts, budgets (account reconciliations), and meeting minutes. • Supports other business and student programs within the schools as needed.
