Lisa Lambert is simply one of the best reporters I have had the privilege to work with. Insightful, knowledgeable and compelling are only a few of the ways to describe her reporting and writing skills. She also is an expert at writing headlines that quickly grab the reader’s attention with both style and wit. Lisa is an expert in all areas of government finance and was awarded two fellowships to study public pensions. She has also shown her talents in covering the White House during the 2012 election. I can recommend Lisa’s honesty, integrity and dedication to the job.

Cate Long

Lisa is an outstanding reporter. She covers fast breaking, complex stories brilliantly.

On the Washington Desk (December 2021-August 2022): Coordinated coverage of Justice Department and Capitol Hill, with special focus on the Jan. 6 hearings, OathKeepers and Proud Boys prosecution, Ukraine aid and Uvalde response. Helped with White House coverage as well as political news and the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Jackson.
