  I'm presently a special education resource teacher for the Yakima School District. I'm nationally board-certified and have taken many hours of professional development courses in education-related areas. I have a post-bachelors in Special Education, an MAT in Reading, plus 90 graduate credit hours. I've worked in three different states at varying positions and with diverse demographics. I also lived in Mexico City, where I had a small ESL school and worked as a translator. After many years as a military contractor in IT, my husband recently began teaching middle school math. We would love to live and teach somewhere in Washington near enough to the water to enjoy boating. Show less
