I was lucky enough to support Lisa and her administrative team with their development on how they can support their learners at South Downs College even more effectively. Lisa was pivotal on our training day not only in creating excitement around the content, but also the crucial and often forgotten element of helping the team to embed and apply their learning afterwards!
Heidi Healey
Lisa is a very well presented professional who is always friendly and helpful. Despite being in a pressurised and extremely busy role she always looks in control and approachable. Lisa has always been helpful with any queries I have had and when I assessed one of her team I was impressed with her team management skills and how she motivated and led by example.

Office Manager
-
Nov 2001 - Apr 2014
My role at Fareham is a pivotal position within the organisation. I was responsible for the daily smooth-running of all Faculty Office and Reception functions as well as managing a team of five professionals and one apprentice trainee. I undertook a variety of administrative duties and provide support for four college Directors and twelve Managers. As Office Manager it was my responsibility to ensure that all procedures and policies are adhered to and that my team understand their roles and actions required. One of my key roles is to manage the Offsite Activities Programme, which includes ensuring all health & safety requirements are adhered to, that the safeguarding of all students is paramount and that all administration is completed (for audit purposes).I have been instrumental in organisation and supporting many events across the College, from Open Evenings/Days, Awards Ceremony, STEM Fairs to Taster Days and Enrolments. This has been a very hands on requirement, supporting the Communications & Marketing Manager closely.Previous to my current role, I worked for 10 years as PA for the Head of Faculty. This was a senior administrative position that required me to work according to strict deadlines and that often involved the handling of highly confidential information. Between 2001 and 2003, I undertook several administrative roles within the college.
