      As programme associate, I coordinated the programme "re:constitution - Exchange and Analysis on Democracy and the Rule of Law in Europe", that is jointly organised with Democracy Reporting International and funded by Stiftung Mercator. The re:constitution programme intends to inspire comprehensive discussion between legal scholars and practitioners about and around questions of democracy, rule of law, and the protection of fundamental rights in Europe – across borders and the entire political spectrum. My main tasks included: - coordination of fellowship programme (dissemination of calls for applications, providing support for a total of 70 fellows, preparation of fellows' mobility stays) - event organisation (fellows' meetings, seminars & conferences, including a major two-day conference featuring keynotes by Koen Lenaerts, president of the Court of Justice of the EU and Angelika Nußberger, director of the Academy for European Human Rights Protection, featuring a total of 130 participants) - budgeting and controlling (strategic budget planning, where-used lists and reports, stipend payments) - public relations (website management, growing a Twitter account from 0 to 1.300 followers) Show less
