I am a key driving force behind the initiation, planning and national delivery of UK government funded Learning & Development initiatives. I conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify hot topics; collaborate with mixed-ability learners to deliver tailored education solutions; secure funding for schemes; forge strong relationships with and onboard suppliers; deliver engaging training to internal/external stakeholders; and report progress to senior leadership to ensure alignment with predefined objectives and budgets. Promoted from Project Worker to Learning Services Project Manager. Train and manage cross-functional teams to efficiently deliver programmes. Key point of contact for mental health initiatives and provide ‘mental health first aid’. Transformed a client’s relationship with staff following an issue with absenteeism and unfulfillment, implemented a mental health awareness scheme that led to the recruitment of onsite mental health resources, significantly improving staff performance and feedback. Devised and implemented streamlined best practice for Project Coordinators, enabling the team to move from underperforming, to exceeding Payment by Results (PBR) KPIs for 3 years. Awarded ‘Partner of the Year’ from Chesterfield college for implementing a functional skills programme. Introduced and sourced a provider for a sign language training programme to remediate an identified lack of communication capability on the shop floor of a deaf-friendly organisation. Investigated online learning platforms and developed a web-based learning programme, enabling the organisation to continue to provide leading-edge training and courses to a variety of learners. Identified a need for a redundancy support initiative across several closing client sites, rolling out an engaging programme to assist exiting workers to upskill, retrain and present CVs effectively.
