Lisa's work at the Eiteljorg was one of energy, enthusiasm and detail. She was able to "herd cats," by coordinating artisans, volunteers, staff, and vendors from around the United States to bring them to one place, for one weekend out of the year - and all with grace, smiles and endurance. Lisa's knowledge of not only the subject matter - Native American contemporary and traditional art - but of the people at these events, their needs and interests, and sensitivity required to handle so many different types of people from so many different communities, was impressive to watch in action. However, it wasn't just facilitating the creation and execution of one of the most important art events in the United States each year, she's also able to create copy, develop presentations, speak passionately about the subject matter and develop the necessary guides, tools, and administrative structure required to implement the task.
