Not only is Lisa a compassionate and thoughtful social worker, she also understands the importance of fundraising. This makes her the perfect Director of Programs for an agency. She leads all the programs at Children's Cottage with so much commitment to helping vulnerable families, which includes enthusiastically engaging with the fundraising department. It is so helpful when story telling and reporting outcomes to the community. As the Director of Development, I think we make a pretty good team!

I've known Lisa for 10 years, and her commitment to service has never waned. She has an uncommon passion for working with people at risk; those experiencing homelessness, addictions and mental health (often all at the same time). I have observed the same compassion and respect whether she is supporting a client, or a team member. If there really are hearts of gold out there, Lisa has one of them. Whether a team meeting, accreditation or program development, Lisa approaches the task with a care-centered focus, yet manages to balance this with a strong drive to meet targets and maintain healthy boundaries. I would gladly work with Lisa again and she would be a blessing and an asset to any organization.
