  At Urban Strategies Council, Lisa founded the Alameda County Community Asset Network (AC CAN), a coalition of income and asset building organizations. Under Lisa’s leadership, AC CAN emerged as a national model and was designated a Lead Local Organization for CFED’s national Assets and Opportunity Network. She developed the Council’s approach to health equity and cross-sector partnerships to address social, economic and racial disparities in health. A collaboration between AC CAN the Alameda County Public Health Department was awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant for income protection strategies as public health promotion. Lisa staffed the Council’s Equitable Economic Development and Workforce Development efforts, including a Community Wealth and Ownership table in pursuit of anchor institution strategies for job creation and community asset building. She also led the REACH Ashland Youth Center strategic planning process and supported Alameda County's Birth-8 early childhood initiative. Lisa served on Urban Strategies Council's Executive Team.
