After my children were all in school, I wanted to go back in the work force. I wanted to help people and be with people. I found a great love for exercise, and decided to get certifications so I could teach. Before long, I owned my own business, 2nd Wind Fitness. I grew that business from the ground up, and became the first Premier TRX studios as well as the first Water-Rowing Studios in Pennsylvania. I also started a Stand Up Paddle Board business and am Level 2 Certified. I love sharing my knowledge in fitness as well as my skills in human resources. My business has brought me great pleasure and understanding of being a small business owner. Unfortunately, due to a separation, I am closing my business to find a job back in the corporate world, with benefits to help me support my children. Show less

I started with Red Lobster as a waitress while attending college in Milwaukee, Wi. I grew within the company very quickly. Opening new restaurants, as a server trainer in Florida. A few years later I was offered the Front of the House Manager position when I was 22 years old. I was in charge of scheduling all of the Front of the House staff, including hostess, cashiers, servers, bartenders, and bus help. I was also in charge of guest service and all hiring and training. Within 2 years of holding that position, I was promoted to General Manager. I was then in charge of all of the managers below me, all of the food quality, quality assurance, profit and loss, daily and monthly inventories, hiring and firing of staff, employee evaluations, customer satisfaction, etc. I worked as a General Manager in Ann Arbor, MI, when I was chosen to be the one person to open the two Flag Ship Restaurants in Hawaii. I relocated to Hawaii, where I spent 4 months, overseeing the building of the restaurants as well as learning the culture of the islands and setting up food distribution centers. I also, hired the managers needed for both restaurants and trained them. When the restaurants were ready to open, I hired all the staff, trained them and opened the doors I spent 2 years in Hawaii, before returning back to the main land and started a family. I worked for Red Lobster for 12 yearts total, and loved every minute of the hospitality world. Show less
