I had the pleasure of working with Lisa Baptiste while I was the Registrar at Dade Medical College in West Palm Beach. Lisa was one of the most knowledgeable, professional and dedicated professors I have ever encountered. Lisa had a very unique ability to connect with students on a very personal level in order to teach the very difficult subject of Chemistry. Lisa was not just teaching Chemistry, she was teaching life. Her teaching methods came from her heart, her tactics were astounding and memorable. In the very rare case that a student was having difficulty with the subject matter she would go out of her way to help the student learn, even if it meant coming in early or staying later. As a colleague, Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her contagious smile and upbeat attitude made the work environment so warm and enjoyable.
