  I started as an egg collector. Collecting eggs from a conveyor belt and checking the overall conditions of the chicken sheds (temperature, water consumption, overall welfare incl. removal of dead birds). The company soon grew and became the 2nd largest egg producers in the UK, I then started my new role in training the young chickens where to lay their eggs (in the nest boxes and not on the floor). This saved the company lots of money as the eggs collected from the belt were in a far better condition and less eggs were broken. Show less
