Focus: Transnational Knowledge Actors in Development Cooperation - Current Modalities of Knowledge CooperationAs part of the nine-month Postgraduate Training Programme, I work in a research team analysing knowledge actors in development cooperation from different contexts with regard to their cooperation modalities. For this purpose, types of modalities (How is cooperation carried out? What incentives are set for cooperation partners to get involved? What kind of contributions are expected from the cooperation partners?) will be identified. The modalities are discussed under the aspects of effectiveness and sustainability. The research is conducted in close cooperation with international partners including Rwandan, Indian, Korean and German institutions.DIE is a leading international development policy think tank ranked #3 in its area of research by the Global Go To Think Tank Index (2020).
