I was the sole intern for the Coalition To Stop Gun Violence for the summer of 2015. I wrote and managed their blog, http://www.nraontherecord.org.I wrote special blogposts on their website (csgv.org) under their "Bullet Counter Points" blog: one about the psychology of gun ownership (http://csgv.org/blog/2015/psychology-gun-ownership/) and one about the dangers of arming military bases and the responses to arming the bases in wake of the Chattanooga, TN shooting (http://csgv.org/blog/2015/military-to-gun-extremists/).I helped various staff members do research on the intersection between domestic violence and gun violence, helped draft press releases, did research for Members of Congress interested in ending the gun violence epidemic, among other tasks. In addition, I helped the Director of Communications run various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
