Lisa has been an invaluable part of our Project Transition program at Westchester Community College. This intensive, 8-week program provides technology and job search training to women who have lost their means of support and need these skills to get back in the workforce to support themselves and their families. After serving as a volunteer, Lisa took over the Job Search portion of our program right after the pandemic hit. Lisa's experience as a recruiter enables her to bring real-world advice and practices to our students. She is able to create a positive and trusting environment in her virtual classroom and our students really respond to her. She has proved able to get great work out of even the most challenged students and has left all her students with the skills and motivation to seek employment.
