Apart of a multidisciplinary robotic design team, under the supervision of a professor worked on developing an active knee brace that will allow knee surgery patients to recover faster from their injuries. Utilizing Arduino and 3D printing for prototyping purposes and aiming to enter the final product into a biomechanical engineering conference. Worked on motor and battery selection researching different options to fit our needs. Researched the human gait and competitive products. Worked on algorithm to control motor and predict the leg swing through an equation to help an injured person amplify their walking while recovering from a new injury. Show less
