  My role was to call and engage with potential clients, assess their medical needs, and persuasively offer a fitting solution from the vast array of health products provided by Affinity Health (The company on whose behalf IRDSA was a broker). At the end of my contract, I had the third most sales in a team of about 18 people, having no previous sales experience as compared to my colleagues. I learnt how to manage pressure by dealing with demanding customers while at the same time achieving my sales targets. The job also improved my communication skills and self-confidence.   My role as an intern was to initially assemble and perform quality control tests on the power supply units produced by the company. The CTO was impressed with my electrical engineering knowledge and skills and shortly elevated me to work with the R&D team to help redesign the power supply switches. I helped the team come up with solutions for the common-mode problems. The experience enhanced my teamwork and research skills as I had to submit written reports of my findings to the R&D team.
