Hard working and driven are the words that come to mind when I think of Linsey. I have had the pleasure of working with her on various projects throughout college. I have always been particularly impressed with the dedication and perseverance she puts into any project she is assigned to. No matter how stressful a week, she always maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Linsey would be an asset to any team!

I was a graduate research assistant studying civil engineering. The Coastal Sustainability Studio is known for working with the CPRA and Water Institute, as well as other major organizations, in restoring the coast of Louisiana and prevent further erosion. The CSS also aids in the building of the river model, Expanded Small-Scale Physical Model (ESSPM) on the campus of LSU, which will test sediment diversions and management strategies for the Mississippi River and coastal Louisiana. My job was to code, using Processing, and design exhibit pieces and animations for the exhibit area of the ESSPM. I also developed a 2-D computational model of the West Bay Sediment Diversion and the lower Mississippi River using Delft3D. Show less
