    • Summer Intern
      • May 2022 - Aug 2022

I worked in Cushman and Wakefield as a summer Intern and is part of the Valuation and Advisory department. I help with daily operations and also writing up abbreviated valuation reports. Other than that, I participate in various site inspections to help broaden my vision and gain more knowledge about the Hong Kong real estate market. Also, every week I participate in our weekly meeting about the current real estate market. Working in a huge company like Cushmand and Wakefield allowed me to experience the work culture in big companies and while working on this role, I was able to gain some insights about the real estate industry and the Hong Kong real estate market. It is a precious experience for me to learn different skills like site inspecting, writing valuations reports, evaluating market trends and applying those into the valuation. Moreover, I see this as a chance for me to get familiar with the industry and how it is like to be working in a huge company. Although, I might not have the opportunity to be working in the same industry or same company, I believe I am able to apply knowledges or skills learned from this internship in the future and in different industries or companies.

    • Mong Kok, Hong Kong
    • Front Desk Receptionist
      • Oct 2018 - Feb 2019

During my gap year starting from September 2018 till September 2019, I was lucky enough to work as a front desk receptionist in L'etoile de Mer Mong Kok. It is a small hostel located in Mong Kok, Hong Kong. I've worked in this role from October 2018 till February 2019. My main role was to help customers check in and check out using our machine, and be ready to provide some assistance if customers needed. While I was working in this role, I am able to meet people from different places such as the Netherlands, Malaysia, Amsterdam etc. Overall, I think this job was able to help me practice my speaking in both English and Chinese, also it allows me to not be shy in front of people and hopefully these skills are able to help me in the future.
