I was working on a multi million pound project in Boroughbridge. Constructing a Waste Recovery Park which will see a reduction of household waste in York and North Yorkshire going to landfill by up to 90% I was currently the only Document Controller on site using 4P's 3G, I have had extensive training on the system, and classed as a 'super user'My primary job is to check all incoming documents from Designers and Architects and ensure they are fit for purpose. I was employed at Baydale as the office Administrator; my duties include a lot of reception work including answering the phone, dealing with queries and welcoming guests to the company. I also manage the company’s fleet of vehicles, dealing with repairs, booking in mot’s etc.. I work extensively with the Engineers in the company from all of our branches, making sure their CSCS is up to date, booking hotels, holiday schedules. I was employed in Ipswich on the new Ipswich Chord and Freight Yard railway works, sub-contracted to Network Rail. My role was as a Administrator on site and my duties included; Document Control, uploading project paperwork to the ‘in-house’ system, I also dealt with a lot of the admin works for the Commercial Team as I was training to be a Cost Clerk for the Freight Yard this enabled me to hire and off hire plant and order materials. I was working on the construction (rebuild) of a £19.75 Million Civic Hall in Guildford City Centre. I held the responsibilities of Document Controller, all administrative works and Site Secretary including filing, diary management, minute taking and distribution, servicing and auditing of all architectural drawings (4 Projects) and liaising with sub-contractors.
