Communicate clearly and concisely with other whale watching boats to locate whales and organize movements to safely navigate around wildlife. Create and distribute marketing efforts including brochures, ads, business cards, hotel check-in cards, etc. Establish relationships with local community. Create job postings for incoming staff, interview candidates and offer positions. Train incoming staff on company protocols. Kayak Guide: lead kayak tours with up to 12 guests per guide for 3-hr as well as 6-8hr tours.
