Municipal Public Access Planner

To support the Coastal Management Program I collected pertinent public access data across the state of New Jersey, reviewed Municipal Public Access Plans, and utilized GIS tools and online databases to organize a comprehensive list of tidal water access points for the public. NJ Watershed Ambassador

The AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador Program it is a community service oriented program administered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Ambassadors promote watershed stewardship through environmental education and community involvement. We also monitor streams within our watershed management areas by performing biological and visual assessments. I will be serving the Barnegat Bay Watershed, a priority area for estuary research and restoration. Take Back the Tap Campaign Coordinator

As the campus coordinator for Rutgers, I worked with fellow organization members to educate our peers about the unsustainable nature of water privatization and the bottled water industry. We collected petition signatures to update the water infrastructure on campus, formed coalitions with other student groups, hosted events and film screenings, and advocated for updated and sustainable water infrastructure.
