Always trying to improve myself & my operation as a leader for the restaurant, room service, and concierge lounge teams. Acting as a support system for both FOH and BOH associates, I dabble in a multitude of roles to ensure that the day runs smoothly. I have taken the lead in my department for reservations and dabbled in decorating for our major events, creating memorable centerpieces. I publish a weekly food & beverage-focused newsletter. I was named Leader of the Quarter in Q4 of 2015.

No other job has impacted my ability to calmly face challenges as much as this one. A comedy club offers a unique experience in restaurants to better one's time management skills as the room can go from zero to full occupancy in a matter of minutes. In addition to serving, I have expedited both bar and kitchen. No other job has impacted my ability to calmly face challenges as much as this one. Clerical Support II
-
Nov 2013 - Jul 2015
This was truly a jack of all trades position. I often assisted patients and their families with insurance and billing questions. It was not uncommon for me to intercede on the behalf of doctors, hospital, or families to ensure that insurance authorizations were received and correct for procedure. I acted as intermediary between Radiology staff and providers to obtain and correct scripts. I was also tasked with obtaining and sharing medical records either by provider or patient request as well as finding previous studies which impacted current diagnoses.I worked with a number of systems, including but not limited to:EpicMcKesson PHS, Pacs, and PacsCubeHBOCMedicityRecondo Real Time EligibilityFollowing the implementation of Epic Revenue Cycle, I created step-by-step instruction to help staff perform daily tasks.I took the lead on a project which eliminated thousands of dollars of unnecessary spending by following federal guidelines to destroy old records which were sitting in storage. I completed registration of patients going for outpatient testing for laboratory and medical imaging as well as for inpatient procedures and stays (including notification to inuance companies). I transcribed orders for both laboratory and medical imaging patients using Sunquest, Medicity, and Epic. I completed outpatient to inpatient conversions for admitted patients coming through the Emergency Department. This team also preregistered and activated accounts for patients directly admitted through a doctor either on- or offsite. Show less

Responsible for attending classes that coordinated with the instruction I was offering so that my additional classroom time would seamlessly match the professor's lesson plan. I created lessons, including presentations and practice activities, for twice weekly meetings meant to assist students with their grasp of the French language. Red Robin is one of the best restaurants for college students. They develop their staff by offering many different experiences. At this restaurant, I acted as a server, trainer, bartender, and hostess. I conducted initial interviews. Also, in addition to writing the server schedule, I input all schedules into their sytem.
