  Under the sending organization, Action International Ministries, I focus on setting up teams, families, and short term interns to come and serve at the Davis Lar Children's Home in Fortaleza, Brazil. My husband and I work directly together as he manages the logistics, food, and the budget. There, we have a home that is known as "The Mission Post" where I organize and lead the short term while they are in the field serving alongside us. The Mission Post also functions as a "bridge" to plug people into serving opportunities in the community of Araças, Brazil. Focal points of our ministry are orphan care, spiritual growth and outreach in the local church plant, farming, and outreach in a local gang ridden neighbourhood where child trafficking is prominent. In my role, I also manage social media accounts to raise awareness, prayer needs, and financial support. I also write quarterly updates and maintain communication to our church partners. Partnering with the Davis Lar Children's Home, I am the point of contact of any groups or individuals outside of Brazil. In the past, I have worked with individuals from Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, and in the United States. In this role, I act as a liaison to communicate the mission of the Davis Lar and to communicate any needs and updates.
