Bio
Karthik Venkataraman
I managed Lindsay during part of her tenure at QD Vision. She is a great hands-on engineer, and combines excellent lab skills in diverse areas like coating processes, formulation development, glass flame sealing and optical measurements, with the tenacity and smarts to solve the problem and get it done with limited or no direction. I want to specifically point out that I had full confidence in Lindsay to deliver different and new kinds of samples that were needed for critical product testing – I just had to ask, and she would execute, solve any issues and deliver, with minimal guidance and no fuss. Lindsay worked on many different aspects of our R&D programs that led to successful product demos, and was able to come up to speed and become good at these very quickly. This flexibility was extremely useful in a fast paced startup environment, where priorities and projects changed frequently. Lindsay is an excellent individual contributor and team player. I recommend her without any hesitation.
John Linton
At a startup such as QDVision, the objectives and roles for each person can change abruptly. Lindsay not only accepted these challenges, she thrived under them. It was my pleasure to have her part of the Advanced Product Development Team. As a Materials Engineer, she worked cross-functionally with chemists and engineers, and solved problems. Her work enabled us to put together remarkable demonstrations of our technology as well as mechanistic understanding that will be critical to our company's success. I would have no hesitation in working with Lindsay again in the future.
