Leadership role, managing Faculty of 13 full-time English teachers. Teach MYP English language and literature (Y7-9), AQA GCSE L9-1 English Language and English Literature (Y10-11), IBDP English A Literature (SL and HL) , Lang & Lit (SL and HL) and Literature and Performance (SL) (Y12-13). EE supervisor and CAS supervisor. Part of strategic planning group for CIS-WASC five-year review. Member of focus groups in line with whole school five-year plan. Represent Faculty at ESF English Curriculum Group. Have led and organised cross-school teacher CPD (five HK schools involved). Oversee VOiCE, the in-school literary and art magazine; participation in One City One Book festival in HK; Hong Kong Young Writer's Awards; and the school's annual Book Week. Oversee the school's participation in HK Cancer Fund's annual Stride for a Cure (on average 250 students and staff from school take part and we have now won the School Cup for the tenth year raising the most money for the charity). Have led and participated in local and overseas CAS Week trips, including Jewellery Making, The Amazing Race, Global Feast, Year 7 camp and in October 2019 participated in a service-based trip to Mongolia. I am also an external marker for IB English A Language & Literature and Literature.
