      I joined TPK Consulting, a firm of Transport and Highways Consultants in Newbury. In 2002 RPS Group Plc, a multi-discipline planning and development consultancy, acquired TPK. My role within TPK/RPS developed from Office Junior to PA / Senior Team Secretary and then on to provide PA support to the Operational Director as well as fulfilling an Office Management role within the management team. During my 12 years with RPS I trained junior admin staff to a high standard and gave an invaluable level of support to Senior, Operational and Technical Directors.My roles and responsibilities included: management and checking of monthly accounts with Operational Director to ensure the office met its targets; HR responsibilities including the handling of confidential staff and business information; the preparation of Newbury’s monthly Regional Board report detailing key information relating to office performance; preparation, participation and minute taking for confidential management meetings as well as the follow up of actions with the Directors, office adherence to QA (ISO9001 and ISO14001); regular liaison and building a strong rapport with key clients; organising travel; conference call arrangements; filing and general office duties including archiving; preparation of monthly invoices; involvement in Business Development and Marketing; event organisation and attendance; and organisation of office social events.
