Mine Site Manager: Promoted to this position at the request of the company president reporting to the board of directors, to complete preparation of the project for a restart in early 2001 and to bring the $10millon budget over spend back into line. This included all the functions associated with a remote green field mine site, consisting of 40 permanent employees and 80 contractors. Specifically, the renegotiation of the compensation agreement with the Traditional Owners of the leased land and the employment of traditional people at the mine site.
