  I started my own housecleaning business while attending college. It allowed me to have flexibility to adjust my work schedule each semester depending on what my coursework schedule ended up being. I had clients that I cleaned for once a month, bi-weekly and weekly. My clients put their trust in me to not only have a key to their homes but also to be in their homes without supervision. A former supervisor, mentor and CFO once told me that seeing this on my job application back in 2003 really caught his attention because of what it demonstrated about me.
