Luca Falletti

Very professional

Dave Watson - ACIOB

Lindsay was recommended from Redrow and Crosby homes from the Hemisphere project, where she was employed on our I-land project based on Essex street, Lindsay was always polite, on time and respectful. I have kept in touch with Lindsay and would employ her if we had work close to her home.

Whilst working on the HS2 Project I worked along side the Site Supervisor's, Engineer's, Quantity Surveryor's and Project Manager's. My key role was to produce Allocation Sheets which provided the weekly hours of the workforce. This also kept track of any Plant that was on or off hired for the Project, in order for the Commercial Team to work out the cost. I would also produce a Material Log for any deliveries that arrived to site. This would not only keep on top of the cost of the project but would also record the quantities of Concrete, steel and fuel. Other duties involved emailing weekly timesheet directly to Sub-Contractors, arranging meetings, working out monthly hours, reporting any Plant hire. Other tasks included scanning, printing, getting documents signed for the Client and uploading them onto the company share point. Show less

Established my own business with partner, demonstrating excellent self-management and adaptability of service depending on the individual demands of the project requested. Every project varies and is dependant on renovation and re-lease of existing buildings in order to gain profit. Most of the work carried out would mainly entail; wall and floor tiling, painting, decorating, removing and repairing existing internal wall surfaces before setting out the design for kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms in both residential and commercial developments. I have worked with a number of complex designs and building materials including:- marble, terracotta, stone, ceramics, granite and mosaic. Show less

Was involved in the handover of a project. Mainly hotels, luxury apartments and infrastructure projects such as; Radisson Hotel/Beetham Towers, Hemisphere, I-land, Jupiter developments for Client's such as Redrow and Crosby Homes and the Birmingham airport extension. I always knew throughout my working life that I wanted to make help others, be relied on and mostly make others feel comfortable in their surroundings. When I first worked in the construction industry, I knew I found the industry that I would excel in and feel not only a great sense of achievement after the development was finished but a purpose, which was urban innovation and homes for the people within Birmingham City Centre. I decided I wanted to further my education to go in the Professional Sectors of the Built Environment such as Project/Construction Management. Show less

Worked in three of the Hilton Hotels. When I worked in The Birmingham Metropole I always remember my first experience which was cleaning 'Antony Worrall Thompson's' room in the Plaza section and speaking to him for quiet a while, I did not let on I knew who he was and that I watched the show he used to present which was called 'Ready, Steady, Cook'. It was such a big hotel that I did not realise there was two sides with the same numbers. The Warwickshire Hilton I used to work in the restaurant area as well as room service. The Coventry Hilton was my favourite 'Hilton Hotel' because it was very well maintained, the rooms were a lot bigger and the staff and customers were always a pleasure to talk to and accommodate. • Carer & domestic cleaner
      • Jun 2001 - Dec 2003

Looked after patients 60+ with various conditions such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, Dementia, schizophrenia, mental health conditions and old age as a carer. I was also a domestic cleaner and ensured that their surroundings, facilities, carpets, and all 60 rooms were of the best cleaning standards to make them feel good and at ease within their environment. I cooked for them all as well as entertained them in what spare time I had and enjoyed working and supporting them throughout the Christmas period as I knew a lot of these patients were neglected. I got attached to many of the patients who sadly passed away which made me want to change my career path. Show less

This was my first job when I left school. I found it hard to adapt to the cleaning standards at this hotel which at the time was known as the Jarvis Hotel 'Georges Restaurant'. I enjoyed cleaning St Georges street which was luxury townhouse suites, with spiral staircase. I got on with all the staff who did there best to help me adapt to my duties. I did lack in confidence because of my age and I was discriminated by the head house keepers who used to make my last four months working their rather unpleasant in any way or form, to the point I was working over my shift. That was when I decided to find another job and has been my only bad experience in the work environment. Show less
