At Gilbert High School, I teach Physical Education and Health to the freshman class. In PE, we learn the importance of physical activity and how to intrinsically and extrinsically motivate oneself. We do different units such as dance, volleyball, badminton, flag football, and pickle ball. In health, we discuss the importance of physical fitness, how alcohol affects a developing teenage brain, proper nutrition, and reproductive health.
