Probation Officer
-
Jun 2008 - May 2010
I coordinated with five court systems at city and county levels in Grady and Decatur. I proactively managed a case load of 800 probationers, this involved setting up community service hours, required jail time, drug and alcohol classes, payment plans, revocation hearings and drug screenings. I prepared revocation petitions, case modifications, case closings and other recorded documents required for clerks of courts. I provided clerical and administrative support to city, county and state clerk of court offices, as well as, fellow probation officers. By the time I left in 2010, this combined with self-initiated audits, had resulted in the correction of approximately $87,000 of incorrect or misreported fines and restitution between Red Hills and said entities.
