Served as Grant Writer for sub-grant and mini-grants. Coordinated all aspects of the Community Substance Abuse Prevention Grant including: Implementation, monitoring, and documentation of the assessment, capacity building, and planning activities as outlined in the program plan. Coordinated various projects/events for 250+ community members. Implemented a twelve week program to increase education and support for caregivers focusing on increasing awareness and knowledge of substance abuse, increasing family protective factors, and increasing healthy communication. Formed a youth coalition and implemented the Youth In Action program in collaboration with the AR Alcoholic Beverage Control Division. Partnered with the middle schools of Randolph county to implement the Life Skills Training Program which focused on increasing the confidence and skills necessary to successfully handle challenging situations.
