      administering medication via all routes to study participants, including, tablet dosing, gum dosing, nebuliser dosing, inhaler dosing, IV dosing etc I also carry out training with participants in the use of devices such as nebulisers, inhalers, acapella devices, drug administration devices and the basic techniques used. Collecting safety data such as vital signs, ECGs, cardiac monitoring, Telemetry, Holter Monitors, oral cavity examinations and Infusion site assessments. I carry out pulmonary function tests, nitric oxide testing, sputum induction and collection of sputum samples, venipuncture, cannulation, skin prick testing, nasal brushing, urine collection, screening of participants for upcoming studies and safety monitoring of adverse events in participants. The application and removal of Holter Monitors, assisting during procedures such as bronchoscopies, nasal lavage and administration of specialised treatments. All procedures are carried out by myself while always following and adhering to each study specific protocol and also standard operating procedures and procedure guides. Liaising with all members of the clinical conduct team and clients at Celerion, bringing into use my excellent communications and ability to adapt to all situations and to cope with any problems that may arise in a professional and effective manor. Using Celerion’s own computer programs to record data and carry out scheduled events. Maintaining a high standard of time management, documentation of raw data, and also communication skills on a daily basis.I am also a Certified Trainer at Celerion, where I train staff in all of the mentioned skills which I am qualified in. I am trained in Code Blue situations and scenarios and certified in Immediate Life Support.I attend meeting and Site Initiation Visit meetings on a regular basis as a study nurse.I work with both healthy participants and people with certain diseases such as cystic fibrosis, COPD, and asthma.
