Advising 40+ majors in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences (CLAHS) in 1-1 appointments, workshops, and in guest lectures on career development topics and best practices for their job search, internship search, pre-law, or graduate school endeavors. Designed original social media posts to be included on Instagram and in weekly emails for CLAHS and hosted an all-day Instagram takeover for the College. Training Career and Professional Development staff on crafting personal statements with students and on advising for their law school applications in collaboration with Wayne Moore, pre-law advisor at Virginia Tech. Providing expert feedback for assignments submitted with the Cooperative Education and Internship Program, in Health Professions Mini Mock Interviews, and as part of the Health Professions Evaluation Committee interviews. Presenting at the International Career Conference, Gateway admitted student day, and with Galileo/Hypatia (Engineering living learning communities) to demonstrate the capacity of services within Career and Professional Development.

Served as the Career Liaison for the College of Fine Arts and the College of Music after being promoted to the position from the Co-Career Liaison for the College of Business and College of Entrepreneurship.Covered for advising, presentations, and employer meet and greets for the College of Communication & Information as well as the College of Arts and Sciences (Humanities majors) for 3 months in addition to other full-time responsibilities. Built in-roads with faculty and staff representatives by arranging informational meetings on Career Center services, sending weekly emails with updates for their students, and presenting in Orientations or courses they organized.Developed relationships with businesses, government agencies, and non-profit employers seeking to recruit FSU students/alumni through meetings and on-site visits. Advised an average of 20+ students weekly on job opportunities, job search strategies, and utilizing services at the Career Center. Created and delivered original workshops on career concepts and topics using Canva and Powerpoint. Conducted Mock Interviews with students to build their confidence in the in-person and virtual interview process. Graded for the Career Center’s micro-credentialing service. Provided guidance on applying to law school, graduate school, and participation in FSU’s Garnet & Gold Scholar Society. Trained consistently on preventing micro-aggressions, active anti-racism, bystander effects, and promoting safe environments for students of all backgrounds. Recorded Employer spotlight videos on YouTube called Coffee Break Career Conversations to engage with students outside of live meetings. Distributed bi-weekly catered Career Connection newsletters through Symplicity to inform staff, students, and alumni of upcoming opportunities. Pivoted and orchestrated the 3 events of the 2021 virtual Interior Architecture and Design Career Fair over Zoom breakout rooms that included 24 Employers and over 90 students.
