Assisting 1st-year students with their transition to UCT by familiarising them with the kind of software and application they will need, informal curriculum advice and filling in their curriculum forms for registration. Additionally, working in a team of 30 Orientation Leaders (OLs) and dealing with +2000 new students, we assisted first year students virtually on the UCT teaching platform, where were answered all their questions, with each dealing with approximately ±70 students each after the students were divided into individual groups
