I'm going into my 18th year of teaching at John Reed Elementary School, teaching mainly Kindergarten and 2 years teaching first grade. I have also taught in the Petaluma City School District as a part time 5th grade teacher at Grant Elementary and I was a long term teacher of a 2/3rd grade combo class at Mary Collins School at Cherry Valley School for a year. My life has always revolved around teaching beginning as Pre-school teacher and later as a classroom assistant. In my mid thirties I decided to go back to school and become a credentialed teacher.
