  The company Diageo (formerly Guinness Brewing GB) offered training for anyone with aptitude to move to IT. I worked as a programmer on in-house developments mostly in Finance (Purchasing, Accounts Payable General Ledger, Fixed Assets.) I then became a Business analyst working on projects to deliver new Business systems for for a range of projects including Finance, and Sales. The main responsibilities were analysis of customer requirements, documentation, system testing and implementation.
