  Build and refurbish hands on science kits for elementary students in largest school district in Colorado Springs. Supply 33 elementary schools K-5 with hands on science kits that meet State Standards. Keep all kits up to date and current with Colorado State Science Standards per grade level. Work with teachers and principals for special individual needs and schedule. Work with Science Facilitator keeping curriculum up to State Standards, meeting deadlines, supply reports and answer any of their needs for the Center. Make yearly calendar for delivery and pickup of kits and yearly rotation kit schedule for each school. Maintain yearly budget and do all buying of supplies needed for kits. Work with venders getting best price for supplies to stay within budget. Researching new items to replace outdated kit items and keep the kits cost effective. Do all scheduling of supplies for refurbishment and scheduling workload for employees. Supervise two full time employees and often one or more temporary employee. Show less
