      Since 2014 The Hunt Museum has been running a community engagement project entitled Communities of Culture. The project explores the different unique cultural experiences and heritage of each of Limerick's regeneration areas. In 2016 two Loan Boxes were created by these groups facilitated by The Hunt Museum, containing activities and stories from the past on heritage and culture. Phase III of the project will run from October 2018 to May 2019 and involve sharing the Loan Boxes with the local schools through a series of workshops.
