Provide technical writing and editing support to the Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron One (VMX-1). Review documents: test plans, test reports, and additional testing documentation for readability, continuity, and conformity to current guidance provided by COMOPTEVFOR and in the DoN Correspondence Manual and Marine Corps Supplement to Naval Correspondence Manual.Coordinate with pilots, testers, analyst engineers, and contractors to review documents for timely submission.

Maintain inventory of Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) courseware library of over 600 courses, including version control in SharePoint courseware repositories. Edit course presentations, technical manuals, course catalogs and appendices for spelling, grammar, formatting per Marine Corps standards, research discrepancies online and with author.Develop, maintain and advise on all matters to include the style guide for formatting, proper spelling, uncommon word use and defining acronyms. Assist instructors on the proper use of Word and Excel. Use SharePoint to reference and update Weapons and Tactics Instruction (WTI) courseware. Use PowerPoint to review, edit and test courseware.
