I had the wonderful pleasure to attend Linda Björk’s mindfulness course last spring. I had previous experience from studying mindfulness for a few years, with teachers, as part of sangrias and of course through literature. Being that her course was about mindfulness, she was a great example in her way of meeting us where we were in our business lives. When questions came up about issues at work, she took the chance to speak about conflict resolution within this context, which was so helpful. Linda took every moment that was given to teach us about mindfulness. For instance, when it was time for lunch, she asked us mindfully eat the salad, which her assistant had thoughtfully brought in. Boy it took ages! I have never tasted a salad so thoroughly... She had beautiful and original course material for us to bring home to keep our practice going. Not only was the course material very clear and instructive, it was beautifully designed. What I absolutely loved about the workshop was the fact that it was curated in a brilliant mix of discussions, theory, practical assignments, practices (walking and sitting meditation as well as mindful yoga) and real life examples from her own experiences. Linda knows her material well. She is sharp as a whip and business savvy and she brings it to the table with great elegance and awareness. What strikes me about Linda is her straightforward, authentic, generous and warm nature. To top it off, she has a great sense of humor, which is such gift when you are dealing with people.
