I feel privileged to have worked with Lina on WIRE’s Project Action Team (PAT) earlier in 2021. Lina brought out-of-the-box thinking, excellent communication skills and active engagement to the PAT. It was a delight to be able to see her initiative and commitment to implement real change regarding intersectionality in our shared discussions and work. I would recommend Lina in a heartbeat; she is a creative and forward-thinking individual and an asset to any team.

I met Lina few months ago during my work with WIRE. She was one of the members of the Project Action Team - a group that was formed to review WIRE’s service delivery model and co-create a new model that is braver, bolder and solidly hinges on intersectional feminist principles and praxis. I was most impressed with Lina’s critical analysis of complex issues, her confidence in sharing perspectives based on her own lived experiences and expertise that she continues to build on working with rights based organisations. Lina is a powerhouse. Anyone who has worked with her, who works with her and who will in the future, would know this. Good luck, Lina- may you always work with courage and candor!
