I teach several courses for the Construction Management, Building Science, and Sustainability Technologies Department, including Introduction to Sustainability, Energy Use Analysis, Renewable Energy Technology, and Issues in Sustainability. My students come from several different programs including Construction Management, Building Science, Sustainability Technologies, Computer-Aided Drafting, and Brewing, Distilling & Fermentation. My students learn about the issues, science, strategies, policies, and principles of sustainability and its many intersections with other disciplines and sectors. They also learn how to apply this information to real world challenges. I also teach College Transfer Success classes for the Academic Success and Public Service division at A-B Tech. This course helps students prepare to successfully transfer to a 4-year school. They learn how to navigate college, set goals, and a wide variety of study and professional skills. Show less

One of my focus areas was sustainability in higher education.
