My job consisted of two parts: acting as a veterinary assistant and acting as a customer service administrator. As a veterinary technician, my job was to restrain pets for examination and blood draws, as well as running blood tests, drawing up vaccines, and preparing medications. As a customer service administrator, I helped customers at the clinic decide on what the best care might be for their pet.
