ABLAZE is a student-led, non-for-profit publication funded through the University of Melbourne Student Union (UMSU) and the Student Environment Department. The Zine seeks to engage a wide audience in a critical discourse around climate-(in)action, and positive ways respond to the global climate crisis. Within this role, I co-ordinate a small and lovely team of designers in the production of the 90-page print publication, and social media graphics. Within this role, I learned how to approach and engage with a variety of different types of people, how to work in a team on the shop floor, and the importance of organisation and communication within a workplace. Received greater responsibilities over the term of my employment, and engaged in yearly customer service training.
